Over the past 12 months, SPM has been privileged to support B.A Road Services through the environmental approvals for their asphalt batch plant development in Truganina.
Following a comprehensive environmental assessment and regulatory approvals process, Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) has granted a Development Licence Exemption, allowing BA Roads asphalt batch plant to proceed.
B.A Road Services is more than a civil and road infrastructure business. As an Indigenous-owned company, B.A is creating opportunities, building capability and delivering positive outcomes for Victoria while continuing to grow its presence in the construction and infrastructure sector.
This development licence exemption represents a significant milestone for the project and reflects the value of early planning, robust environmental assessment and proactive engagement with regulators.
A big thank you to the B.A Road Services team for allowing SPM the opportunity to work alongside you on this project. We look forward to seeing the asphalt batch plant move into the next phase and contribute to Victoria’s growing infrastructure needs, including the increased use of recycled materials in road construction.
If you’re planning a project that requires environmental approvals, strategic planning
advice, or regulatory support, we’d love to help.
