Yumbah required detailed and complex Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) including Marine Ecology, Water Quality modelling, Coastal Processes Assessment and Air Impact Assessments to enable Yumbah to secure the necessary Environment Protection Authority (EPA) approvals for the project. The project also required amendments to the Glenelg Shire Planning scheme to accommodate the facility within the coastal zone.
